Why'd you have to do it, Daddy?
Why couldn't you stop?
Why's it more important, Daddy?
Why aren't we enough?
Why am I so worried, Daddy?
Why can't you see?
Why haven't you learned, Daddy?
Why must you dissapoint me?
Why can't you be normal, Daddy?
Why have you been overcome?
Why has this gone on, Daddy?
Why isn't this done?

Memories
You were there at night
When i had a fright
You kept me safe and sound
and there's where love was found
You woke up at 2 a.m
to the sound of a cry, only to find i wanted my lamb
Despite all the things you went through
all your camplaints add up to, surprisingly a few
I cannot mention, all the times
you gave me dimes
just because it put a smile upon my face
and bought me a pretty lace
For all the times you helped me out
i know there must have been a good reason, no doubt
but besides the times i was mad
you always found a way to made me glad
what i am about to say is true;
i really and honestly love you!

Daddy
I don't remember anything about you
As a child it hurt growing up
I didn't have a daddy that would take me to the races
Or teach me how to fish
I thought you loved me daddy
I thought you cared
I meet you for the first time daddy
At aunt sissy funeral
It has been 3yrs daddy since I saw'll you last
You send me Jewlery for my birthday and for chirstmas
Don't you see daddy all I want is you
I tried to come see you daddy
But you told me not to come
Don't you want me daddy ,As your little girl?
Do you want to have a relationship with me?
I am 17 yrs old daddy and I am getting married
All I have ever dreamed about was to have my daddy walk me down the isle
Well the day is coming soon daddy
Will you walk me down the isle?
You told me that you would see
daddy that means "no"
I would think that you would want to daddy
I guess I was wrong
Daddy don't you see you have hurt me enough
You won't return my calls
All I wanted was to be loved daddy
loved by you!
(The reason I wrote this poem is because my dad hasn't been there for me.. and I am getting married in 31 days)
