*Broken Promises*
You said we'd always be together,
And nothing could ever tear us apart.
You said you knew you loved me,
You could feel it in your heart.
You promised you'd love me forever,
And love doesnt change over night.
You said you cherished each minute together,
Every moment holding me tight.
You claimed you'd do anything for me,
There was nothing you wouldn't do.
You said if we kept no secrets,
There wasnt anything we couldnt get through.
You told me I was beautiful,
And I was perfect in every way.
You said that I was always on your mind,
You thought about me each and everyday.
You said you felt special when we were close,
Like all your worries had disappeared.
You claimed that you'd want me always,
Us being apart you greatly feared.
But here I am broken, torn ... all alone.
There's emptiness where you stood by my side.
That means many promises were broken,
I guess that means .. you lied.
* Dream*
It's all in my mind,
Only a dream.
I know it's not real,
Although it may seem.
It is a great image,
Of love at first sight.
To guide and direct me,
When the moment is right.
A kiss that will lead me,
To my fantasy bliss.
It's amazing to find,
Such power in a kiss.
But it's only a dream,
That will never come true.
So I will live in my wish,
Until I have you.
* If Loving You Meant ....*
If loving you meant singing,
Then my voice is full of joy.
If loving you meant leaving,
Then pack my bags I shall.
If loving you meant time standing still,
Then so be it .. for time isn't real.
If loving you meant dying,
Then death shall knock on my door.
If loving you meant losing everything,
Then a poor woman you have met.
If loving you meant loosing you,
I would have to think about that.
But if loving you meant forgetting you,
Well, that is something I could never do!
* I wanna ..*
I wanna cry
But I wanna laugh
Cause I'm whooped over a guy
I wanna die
But I wanna live
So I could see his face again
I wanna hug him
But I wanna hit him
For making me cry
I wanna tell him I hate him
But I wanna tell him I love him
Because I do! I love you Eric
I always will no matter what
Cause no one or nothing
Could ever change the way
I feel about you!
