One Moment
In one moment,
you can tell someone how much you love them,
without ever saying anything.
For that one moment,
you feel safe, secure,
and happy in their arms.
For that one moment,
you don't think about all the sh.. in your life,
all you think about is that,
this person that you are embracing,
for that one moment,
loves you as much as you love them.
You just take a deep breath and hold it in you,
trying to take in everything you feel,
while you are hugging this person,
who says they care about you more than anything.
But only for that one moment
do you feel this way,
there a million other moments that,
you feel the exact opposite;
lonely, insecure, and,
doubtful of everything in life.

~Dead~
Dead to the world, dead to myself.
the flowers wither and ice melts away.
Life is only a flash brought before ones eye.
I am only a face in the crowd, just another sin.
Another person waiting to die, left on the ground to rot.
I'm just another loser, put down by all my peers.
I'm just another daughter whose mother left her side.
I fight yet i fail, i fly yet, i fall.
I'm worthless, I'm no one.
I cry but no one sees, I scream but no one hears.
I want to get out of this place!
I am tired of all this pain.
If i could only go back to elementary youth.
I miss the innocences and numbness to the world all around.
Now i live in an ocean filled with all my own tears.
